She stopped paying herself, in order to bring Weingart onboard.
Of course, as with any business, there have been missteps. In 2011, the company opened its third retail location on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. “It was a vanity store,” Scott sighs. Despite a glitzy celebrity-filled opening party, there wasn’t enough sustained interest, and the store closed shortly thereafter.
Now when selecting a new market, she makes the decision based on where her customers are, judging from online and wholesale purchases. The brand enjoys the most brand recognition in the South (particularly Texas, where 10 of its stores are located) but is slowly expanding outward, with stores launching in major markets such as Washington D.C., Chicago and Los Angeles.

Scott is also considering a New York City location for 2016 but first she needs to get the word out to the East coast state, something she is working on.

In March, Scott did a pop-up Color Bar store at 50 Varick St. in Manhattan. Bowls of sparkling jewels were arranged by color around a central table, as cheery attendants in white lab coats circulated, helping guests use the large touchscreens arranged around the room to custom design rings, earrings, bracelets and necklaces from 26 stone colors and 23 silhouettes. These one-of-a-kind designs cost anywhere between $45 and $350, although most items fall inside the $50 to $75 price range. While the New York City Color Bar was a one-night only operation, it exists permanently online, as well as at all Kendra Scott’s existing retail locations. Eventually, Scott would like to apply her personal aesthetic and shopping philosophy beyond jewelry. In 2016, she plans on launching new products that will move the company towards becoming a bonafide lifestyle brand.

In line with these grand ambitions, Scott just signed a new lease on a 43,000 square foot space in Austin for the company’s corporate headquarters.  "Vogue meets Google" is the envisioned setup for the office, which translates to a sleek design plus tech-like perks such as free yoga and a juice and manicure bar. Beyond aesthetics, Scott wants the office to be inviting for babies and children; there will be a designated breast-pumping room, a TV nook reserved for cartoons and a wall dedicated to pictures of employees’ babies. She estimates that 95 percent of her corporate staff is female, many of whom have young children – and she never wants anyone to feel as if they need to choose between work and family life.
If anything, Scott feels that her success proves the distinction between work and family life doesn’t need to so rigid. She wants to meet her employees’ families; she wants to meet their kids.
“Yeah, bring your baby to work with you!” she tells new hires. “I got to do it, so OK, now you can too.”

এবার আমরা একটি এসইও প্লাগিন বানাই যেটা মেটা ডেসক্রিপসন যোগ করবে. ওই ফাইলের আমরা নিচের মত কোড যুক্ত করব
এই প্লাগিন টি হোমপেজে এবং সিঙ্গেল পেজে যথাক্রমে সাইটের ডেসক্রিপসন ও পোষ্টের প্রথম ১৬০ লেটার মেটা ডেসক্রিপশন হিসেবে এড হয় ।
পিএইচপি জানলে আশা করি বুঝতে পারার কথা ।

আজ এতটুকুই ।
** কন্টেন্টটি প্রথমে টেকটিউনসে লেখেছি বলে এর সমস্ত ইমেজ টেকটিউনস এর হোষ্টে রয়েছে ।

আমার আগে টিউনে আমরা বর্ণ সিএমএস সম্পর্কে জেনেছি । এ টিউনে দেখব কিভাবে বর্ণ সিএমএস লোকালহোষ্টে ইনষ্টল করতে হয়।
বর্ণ সিএমএস লোকালহোষ্টে ইনষ্টল করতে আপনার দরকার:-

• একটি লোকাল সার্ভার : যা আপনি ম্যানুয়ালি তৈরী করে নিতে পারেন বা xampp / wamp / ampps দিয়ে তৈরী করে নিতে পারেন । আমি এক্সাম ব্যবহার করে লোকাল সার্ভার তৈরী করার পরামর্শ দিচ্ছি । এখান থেকে এক্সাম ডাউনলোড করে নিন ।
• বর্ণ সিএমএস এর সোর্স ফাইল

এখন এক্সাম ডাউনলোড হওয়ার পর ইনষ্টল করুন । ইনষ্টেলশন প্রক্রিয়া শেষে যে ড্রাইভে এক্সাম ইনষ্টল দিয়েছেন সে ড্রাইভের নিচের লোকেশনে যান
drive c:\xampp\apache\conf
এখানে httpd নামে একটি ফাইল দেখতে পাবেন যা নোটপ্যাড দিয়ে ওপেন করুন এবং নিচের লাইনটি সার্চ করুন
LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so
যদি উক্ত লাইনটির আগে # চিন্হ থাকে তবে উঠিয়ে দিয়ে সেভ করবেন আর এই চিন্হ না থাকলে কিছুই করতে হবে না ।

আমি এখানে এক্সামের mod_rewrite এনাবল করার নিয়ম দিয়েছি । একই ভাবে ওয়াম্প কিংবা আম্প এ rewrite_mod এনাবেল করতে পাবেন , apache ফোল্ডার থেকে ।
এখন এক্সাম এর mysql and apache ষ্টার্ট করুন । তারপর localhost/phpmyadmin থেকে একটা ডাটাবেজ খুলুন

এবার বর্ণ সিএমএস এর সোর্স ফাইলটি এক্সাপ এর htdocs ফোল্ডার ব ওয়াম্প হলে www ফোল্ডারে পেষ্ট করুন । এখন ব্রাউজারে localhost/bornocms ব্রাউজ করুন । নিচের মতন একটি ইনষ্টল ফর্ম দেখতে পাবেন ।

এখন উক্ত ফর্মটি পুরন করতে হবে :-
Database Name : পুর্বে যেই ডাটাবেজটি খোলা হয়েছিল তার নাম এখানে দিতে হবে ।
Database user: লোকালসার্ভারগুলোর ইউজারনেম ডিফল্টভাবে root দেওয়া থাকে
Database Pass: ডিফল্টভাবে ব্লান্ক থাকে । তাই এই ইনপুটটি ব্লাক রাখুন
Database host: localhost
Prefix : এখানে ষ্ট্রং কোনো প্রিফিস্ক দিতে হবে যাতে হ্যাকার সহজে আপনার সাইটের টেবিল খুজে না পায় । যেমন : x93ss_
Username : এখানে আপনার পছন্দমত ইউজারনেম রাখুন
Email: আপনার ইমেইল দিন
Password: একটা নিদিষ্ট পাসওয়ার্ড দিন । এই ইমেইল ও পাসটি পরে লগইন এর জন্য লাগবে ।
এখন ইনষ্টল বাটনে ক্লিক করুন । সবকিছু ঠিক থাকলে ব্যাস হয়ে গেল ইনষ্টল ।

বর্ণ সিএমএস কি ?
বর্ণ একটি ওপেনসোর্স কন্টেন্ট ম্যানেজম্যান্ট সিষ্টেম যেটি পিএইচপি / মাইসিকুয়েল দ্বারা তৈরী করা হয়েছে ।

এটির ফিচারগুলো :-

• সহজে ইনষ্টল করা যায়
• সিকিউরিটি
• ক্যাপচা
• ডকমেন্ট ম্যানেজার
• নোটিফিকেশন
• কন্টেন্ট ম্যানেজার

• প্লাগইন ম্যানেজার
• সহজে ব্যবহারে উপযোগী । এটি ব্যবহার করতে html/css না জানলেও চলে ।
• রিসপনসিভ  এডমিন প্যানেল
• লেখকের প্রফাইল

ইতিহাস

বর্ণ সিএমএস প্রথম পাবলিশ করা হয় ২০১৪ সালের ১৭ এপ্রিল । বর্তমানে  এটির ১.০.৫ ভার্সন রয়েছে ।

এটি ব্যবহার করতে যা যা লাগবে :

• php / mysql , Apache base Server
• apache_rewrite mod অবশ্যই একটিভ থাকা লাগবে ।

ইনষ্টল প্রক্রিয়া :

এটি ইনষ্টল করা খুবই সহজ ।  অন্যন্য সিএমএস  এর মতো এর ফাইল সার্ভারে আপলোড করে ইনষ্টল দিতে হবে ।  পরের পর্বে এ নিয়ে বিস্তারিত লেখা হবে।
